Me In Skeptic Magazine by GuineaPigDan
The newest issue of Skeptic Magazine has been out for a few days, and I was thrilled to see my cartoons have been published! http://guineapigdan.deviantart.com/art/Cartoons-for-Skeptic-Magazine-462463018 This was taken in a Barnes and Noble near where I live, and I put little sticky notepads with my autograph in them. I also mentioned to the clerk that I drew for Skeptic and the said that the store owner would be interested in publicizing me since I’m local. So I might be making an appearance in a Barnes and Noble soon! I’ll keep everyone updated about when that may happen, if you just so happen to live around the Bay Area.
Hungry Raccoon by GuineaPigDan
I’ve done so many drawings of starving animals that I’m surprised no one has alerted PETA to protest me for animal cruelty.
And no, this isn’t my character Rocky. Just a random raccoon I doodled.
Happy 36th birthday Garfield by GuineaPigDan
Some late birthday art for Garfield.
Bedfellows Blocking Test by GuineaPigDan
"OH! MY WORK IS JUST SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!"
A blocking test I did for the webseries The Bedfellows. Click on Fatigue to watch it!
Cartoons for Skeptic Magazine by GuineaPigDan
I’ve previously uploaded WIPs of these sketches.
Since the issue is coming out now, I’m allowed to post the final versions. In the first drawing, the sheep dogs make the mistake of trying to make it seem like their herd of sheep has more black sheep than white sheep by roping off two black sheep and one white sheep, and thus their selection isn’t “representative” of the whole. Wikipedia has explanation for the Gambler’s Fallacy, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy and the fairies hitting the roulette ball around represent luck determining where the ball stops.
If you just happen to meet me at a con and you have this particular issue of Skeptic magazine with you, I’ll be willing to autograph it for you!
